Steps of the Dental Implant Process
Meet with Dr. Karas to discuss the treatment option that’s right for you. 3D scans may be taken at this time.
A bone graft may be required if more bone is needed. This will be performed before the dental implant placement.
Dr. Karas will surgically place the implant(s). Over the next several weeks, the implant post(s) will fuse to the jaw bone and provide a stable foundation.
The implant is uncovered during a second surgical visit. If the abutment was not attached during the first appointment, it will be performed at this time.
The final prosthesis is attached by your dentist, and your dental implant restoration is complete!
